Deception or Compassion: Maryam in the Crisis of Satisfaction and Ruhollah's Support

Maryam, this homeless and nomadic mother, who had recently been able to breathe a sigh of relief after complaining to the police and the arrest of the oppressive landowner by the soldier, is now faced with an unexpected request. The landowner's niece, who has come to release her uncle from prison, asks Maryam to sign a consent form for forgiveness. But Maryam says bluntly: "I don't trust him; he might hurt me again." But the daughter promises with her commitment and guarantee that her uncle will not harm Maryam again. Maryam, out of compassion and trust in the girl, finally signs the consent form. Meanwhile, Ruhollah, a kind young man who had previously helped Maryam build the hut and bought Maryam’s barley products for the shopkeeper, comes to Maryam’s hut to pay. Since he did not have any cash with him, he pays Maryam with a credit card. Maryam thanks him and invites him to the hut to rest, but Ruhollah refuses, preferring to help Maryam. “What do you want this sickle for?” asks Ruhollah. Maryam replies that she wants to mow the weeds around the trees she has planted to earn an income for herself and her homeless children. Ruhollah kindly asks to help him, and the two of them begin mowing the grass together. But when Ruhollah finds out that Maryam has signed the consent form for forgiveness, he becomes extremely worried and warns Maryam not to make a mistake or trust her, because she may be oppressed again. He asks the girl to accept full responsibility for this matter towards Maryam and to promise that her uncle will not harm or harass her in any way. Did Maryam make a mistake by forgiving her? Will the landowner's niece keep her word? Or will the injustice be repeated this time?
