バルセロナから百里へ｜アラスカを越えるNSX帰国フライト　　Barcelona to Japan | Crossing Alaska with the NSX Onboard

6月15日早朝。 朝焼けに染まるバルセロナ空港を後に、昨夜積み込んだNSXとともにA400Mは日本への帰路につく。 コックピット前方には朝日に照らされた空港の景色。 「また来るよ。」 そんな気持ちでバルセロナを離陸した。 FL410まで上昇したものの、期待していたピレネー山脈は雲の中。 次回は晴天の景色を見てみたい。 イングランド上空を通過し、アイルランド・ウォーターフォードを経由。 給油地アイスランド・ケフラヴィーク空港へ到着する。 今回は初めてRWY19へ進入。 これから何度も利用する空港だからこそ、少しずつ各滑走路にも慣れていきたい。 翌朝、アラスカへ向けて出発。 今回のフライトで最も楽しみにしていた景色が待っていた。 朝日に照らされたアラスカの山脈群。 靄の向こうに広がる壮大な景色は、長距離フライトの疲れを忘れさせてくれる。 アンカレッジ到着時には思わぬ出来事も。 RWY15へ進入中、目の前で747が滑走路を横断。 一瞬ヒヤリとしたものの、滑走路は無事クリアされ、そのまま着陸することができた。 翌朝はRWY15の混雑により約8分待機。 ようやく離陸許可を受け、日本へ向かう。 レイククラーク山脈の美しい景色とチャッカチャムナ湖を眺めながら西へ進み、アトカ島の横を通過。 太平洋横断後は福島県いわき付近から日本本土へ入り、百里基地へ帰着した。 最後はA400MとNSXトランスポーターを並べて記念撮影。 そして旅はまだ終わらない。 メンテナンスを終えたNSXは、今週オーストリアへ向かう予定だ。 次の舞台へ向けて。 Early in the morning of June 15, our A400M departed Barcelona with the NSX safely loaded onboard. As the sunrise illuminated the airport ahead, it felt like saying: “See you again, Barcelona.” Climbing to FL410, the Pyrenees remained hidden beneath clouds, leaving only brief glimpses of the famous mountain range. After crossing England and Ireland, we arrived at Keflavik, Iceland, for a fuel stop. This time, we made our first approach to Runway 19. The next morning brought one of the highlights of the entire journey. Alaska. Sunlight shining across endless mountain ranges created breathtaking scenery that made the long flight worthwhile. Approaching Anchorage Runway 15, an unexpected moment occurred as a Boeing 747 crossed the runway ahead of us. Fortunately, the runway became clear in time and the landing continued safely. The following morning, heavy traffic delayed our departure by about eight minutes before we finally headed west. Flying past the Lake Clark Mountains and Chakachamna Lake, then alongside Atka Island, we continued across the Pacific Ocean toward Japan. Entering Japanese airspace near Iwaki, Fukushima, we finally arrived back at Hyakuri Air Base. To finish the trip, we parked the A400M alongside the NSX transporter for a memorable photo opportunity. But the journey is not over yet.
