2025 USask Law First-Year Welcoming Ceremony

At this ceremony held on Sept. 10, 2025 on the University of Saskatchewan campus, first-year College of Law students were officially welcomed to the college. Dean Martin Phillipson emceed. Speakers representing the judiciary and the Law Society of Saskatchewan provided words of encouragement and advice, then alumni and current student leaders from the college - dubbed cloakers -ceremonially helped students into their black gowns, symbolizing the start of their academic journey in the college.
