🌿 United Nations Park Guatemala | One of the best places to stroll near Guatemala City 🇬🇹 On this adventure, we went to explore the United Nations Park, located in Villa Nueva, Guatemala, an ideal destination for those seeking a walk surrounded by nature, fresh air, trails, viewpoints, and spaces to enjoy with the family. We strolled through the beautiful themed plazas like Plaza Antigua, Plaza Tikal, and Plaza Zaculeu, where replicas of some of Guatemala's most emblematic sites made us feel as if we were traveling to different corners of the country in one place. One of the most special moments of our visit was finding a puppy that had become trapped on one of the structures in Plaza Tikal and couldn't get down. Fortunately, we were able to alert the park rangers so they could rescue him, and we even left some food we had brought for our dogs so the little one could eat while he was being brought to safety. ❤️🐶 We also took them to our favorite viewpoint in United Nations Park, one of the most accessible for people of all ages, as it's very close to the main area and offers a beautiful view without requiring a strenuous hike. And as every good adventure deserves a reward, we finished by enjoying a delicious shaved ice at the ice cream shop located in Plaza Antigua. Something we really loved was feeling safe throughout our visit. We found the park to be clean, spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for enjoying with family, friends, or even our pets.
