Remember Kosovo Victims
In the spring of 1999, the Serbian police carried out an operation to conceal crimes committed against Kosovo Albanians. During that time, the bodies of hundreds of killed civilians were transferred from Kosovo to several locations in Serbia. Former Serbian police officer Božidar Protić testified before the #ICTY about his role in that operation, during which he transported bodies on multiple occasions. Six high-ranking Serbian officials were convicted for crimes committed in Kosovo and received sentences ranging from 14 to 22 years of imprisonment. #IRMCT remembers and pays tribute to all civilian victims of the conflict in Kosovo. #RememberKosovoVictims
