"The 'Itumba' is a typical Zambian drum which is traditionally used to send messages on deaths and special occasions. In this song the Itumba tells how one son--in-law spends too much time at his in-laws house as if he does not have a home of his own. The son-in-law hears this message and is concerned about it. He then asks his in-laws who deny that they were using the Itumba to gossip about him.
