Growing Up on Sheffield's Park Hill Flats | My Dad Peter’s Incredible 1960s & 70s Memories

Every building has a story... but Park Hill Flats holds many to many. In this video, I share the incredible childhood memories of my dad, Peter, who grew up on the famous Park Hill estate after moving there from the old slums of Pitsmoor in 1960. From outdoor toilets and tin baths in Grove Street to central heating, "streets in the sky" and one of Britain's most ambitious housing projects, this is a fascinating journey into a way of life that has almost completely disappeared.
