What We Missed When We Bought This House

Fast forward a bit… and we've already spent £40,000+ and we're only about halfway through the renovation. In this video we go back to the original online property listing and look at the clues we completely missed before buying it. Now that we've opened walls, lifted floors and lived through some of the chaos, a lot of the warning signs seem pretty obvious in hindsight. Some of them were hiding in plain sight too — including structural hints that half of the house may have been built decades later than the other half. So if you're thinking about buying a renovation project, these are a few of the red flags that might save you a lot of money.
