When MTV Canceled A Masterpiece - A Downtown Retrospective

Ayo! I'm walking here! It's me, famed New York writer and world record holder for most hot dogs inhaled in a year, New York Mr. Cow. I'm here to talk to you about a very special show today: MTV's Downtown. A hidden gem of the late 90's that's bound to make you want to go get a big apple or whatever New Yorkers do. I've seen a lot of great shows that only got a single season, but Downtown is my favorite. This is one of the most authentic, genuine, and real feeling shows I've ever come across. I feel like a lot of people misunderstand what downtown is based off that really artsy looking poster that pops up whenever you look into the show. It's an awesome poster for sure, but it doesn't convey what Downtown is really about. It's a timecapsule of The East Village in 1999 filled with memorable characters, great music, and amazing animation. It'll make ya laugh, it'll make ya scared, and it might even make you love... maybe. I absolutely love this show and I think all of you will as well. So go check out Downtown! New York City is a city in New York called New York City which is actually in New York State. It's got that big green lady in it, Jerry Seinfeld probably, and more subways than every Walmart combined. I've never been to New York, but I've always been curious about living there. Are people there animated like they are in Downtown? Do they still need to eat food and drink water? And why am I not allowed to drive one of the cool yellow cars driving around when I paid the guy already? None of these questions will be answered in this video, but hopefully someone reads this description and answers these questions for my caveman brain/mind. Shout out to The New York Giants for beating the Patriots those two times in the Super Bowl and also for kicking the crap outta my Eagles a couple weeks ago. Do you think the San Francisco Giants and the New York Giants ever hang out and have dinner and say hi and stuff? I heard a guy ask that on a sports show one time and the guy he asked was really snobby about it, but I'm still curious. Also did Jets fans do something to become that? Becuase they never win yet somehow I still see Jets fans everywhere. And it's not like they don't have another team they could go for The Giants or even The Bills, but they stick with the Jets for some reason. Do they just really like green?
