Honda CB500 Monoshock Conversion! This project is a collaboration with ‪@milezero.racers‬ is building a Honda CB450 cafe racer. His vision for the bike included a monoshock conversion so he approached me to see if I could help. I was able to source a CB500T locally that was perfect to use for design and mockup to eventually send back to him. Watch as I take you through the entire design process as well as show areas of difficulty before finally ending up with a cool single shock design for this epic build! As this design is in collaboration with Mile Zero Racers our goal is to possibly make this into a kit that you can purchase for your bike. Since this is the trial run piece we will need to do some testing to see what we like and don't like which is why I won't be linking any specific parts yet. We both feel the CB450 and CB500 bikes are underrated and are excited to bring our own flavors to the platform. Let us know what you think about the project and if you would be interested in a kit!
