THULE TOPRIDE BIKE RACK - Safer option for roof mounting bikes?

The TopRide bike rack is one of Thule's top-of-the-range bike racks which supports a wide range of bike types including both standard 9mm quick release bikes and the majority of thru-axles, including 12x100, 12x110, 15x100 and 15x110 (boost). 20x110 is supported with an additional adaptor.
