Episode Three: Jacob Moore

Jacob Moore has established himself as one of the premier relief pitchers in college baseball through a combination of on-field success and academic achievement. After beginning his collegiate career at LSU Eunice, Moore quickly emerged as a dominant late-inning arm, serving as both a key reliever and closer. During the 2023 season, he recorded seven saves and posted a remarkable 1.26 ERA across 28.2 innings while limiting opponents to a .168 batting average. His contributions helped LSU Eunice compete at the national junior college level and play a significant role in postseason championship success. Following his standout season at LSU Eunice, Moore transferred to Tulane University, where he continued to excel as a vital member of the Green Wave bullpen. During the 2024 season, he compiled a 5-3 record with a 3.00 ERA, led the team with six saves, and struck out 45 batters in 42 innings pitched. Moore consistently delivered in high-pressure situations, helping Tulane remain a contender in the American Athletic Conference and advance to NCAA Regional competition. His success extended beyond the field as he was named a 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection. Moore's performance has earned him widespread national recognition entering the latter stages of his collegiate career. Heading into the 2025 season, Moore was selected to the Preseason All-AAC Team by conference coaches, named Preseason All-AAC by Perfect Game, and earned a spot on the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List, which honors the nation's top relief pitchers.
