◼︎ Agolta, the founder of the Jin Dynasty, was a descendant of Silla! Agolta, the founder of the Jin Dynasty, was the first to drive out the Han Chinese from the Central Plains. Surprisingly, his progenitor was Hambo, a Silla man. This is not found in legends or unofficial history, but is clearly stated in the Jin Dynasty's official history, the Jin History, and in the Song Mokgimun, written during the Song Dynasty's founding. "The founder of Geum, whose name was Hambo, originally came from Goryeo" (Geumsa Bongi, Volume 1, Segi) "The chieftain of the Jurchen was a Silla person, and the Wanyan clan is equivalent to a king in Chinese." (Songmakgimun) The founder of Geum, who came from Goryeo and was a Silla person. Considering Agolta's year of birth, we estimate that Hambo, the founder of Geum, entered the Jurchen during the late Silla and early Goryeo periods. Considering the circumstances of the Korean Peninsula at the time, which was experiencing a transition of power between Silla and Goryeo, the two historical records share the same story. Agolta's ancestor, Hambo. Who really was he? ◼︎ Hambo. Who is he? The Dongmyeonghaesaro records the story of Agolta, the ninth-generation descendant of Hambo. "Although Kim Bu (King Gyeongsun) surrendered and the Goryeo kings annexed the kingdom, Kim Bu's grandson, Wanyan Agolta, was a descendant of Gwon Haeng, who was able to divide China and rule it for a hundred years..." (Dongmyeonghaesaro 1636) Joseon Confucian scholar Kim Se-ryeom claims that Agolta of the Jurchen tribe was the maternal grandson of King Gyeongsun and a descendant of Gwon Haeng, the most powerful family in Joseon. However, Gwon Haeng's original surname was Kim (Kim). Kim Haeng's son, the progenitor of Geum, the maternal grandson of King Gyeongsun. Considering the Silla royal family's custom of intermarriage at the time, it seems certain that his surname was Kim (additional: Kim) and that he was a descendant of Silla. Is Geum's progenitor in the Dongmyeonghaesaro and Hambo of Geumsa truly the same person? ◼︎ The Geum royal family, founded by the royal family of Silla descendants and the royal family of Balhae descendants, took a Balhae queen as its progenitor. The mother of King Sejong, the great king of the Jin Dynasty, and the mother of King Haeryeong, the fourth emperor, were both Balhae women. Furthermore, Agolta trusted the Balhae people. Balhae refugee Jang Ho was appointed as the person responsible for building the new capital, Beijing. Balhae had experience managing a large empire. The Jin Dynasty used Balhae's experience to expand its state system. ◼︎ The Qing Imperial Family's Surname Was Also Kim After the fall of the Jin Dynasty, in 1606, the Jurchen regained control of Central China. This was the Qing Dynasty, the last dynasty of China. The Qing Emperor's surname was Aisin Zuoro. Aisin means gold, and Zuoro means tribe. Ultimately, it means the Jin tribe and the Kim clan. The Gyeongju Kim clan, the royal family of Silla, and their descendants, the Jin imperial family and the Qing imperial family, were all Kims, meaning gold. ◼︎ Manchurian History Is Not Chinese History The history of Manchuria, spanning Gojoseon, Buyeo, Goguryeo, Balhae, the Jin, and the Qing dynasties, is deeply connected to our people. The Han Chinese territory, the central plains, were part of the Manchurian continent. The Jurchen people, who merged to form today's China, are not drawing attention to the fact that their ancestors were Silla people. This is not to assert nationalistic superiority. It is to confront China's anti-historical Northeast Project logic head-on and to preserve our history, thereby reaffirming the logical basis for future peace in East Asia and the Korean Peninsula.
