Former rhythmic gymnastics representative and sportscaster Airi Hatakeyama and talent Nana Suzuki appeared at the departure ceremony for the "Nippon Life Everyone's 2020 Nationwide Caravan" held in Tokyo on July 24th. The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games mascots, Miraitowa and Someity, also appeared at the event. This was the departure ceremony for the Event Caravan, a joint project between Nippon Life and the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will run for approximately two years until March 2020. The caravan will travel to all 47 prefectures across Japan, holding events to promote the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games nationwide.
