But cladosporiosis is a very serious disease, and folk remedies, along with Gamair and Alirin, won't help. Even my beloved Ordan won't help. Regarding cladosporiosis, I've consulted with experienced gardeners, with specialists from the August company, and with fellow farmers. The conclusion is this: If cladosporiosis brings both you and your tomatoes to tears, you must be sure to consider the following. 1. Cladosporiosis is easily introduced into a plot by purchased seeds or purchased seedlings. It can be brought in from neighbors on clothing. Cladosporiosis spores live in the soil and all parts of greenhouses and last for exactly one year. 2. Cladosporiosis is incurable. Infection can only be avoided by preliminary prevention. 3. Cladosporiosis can curl your tomatoes both immediately after planting seedlings in the ground and closer to fall. Early Cladosporiosis is especially dangerous. 4. Do not collect seeds from tomato bushes infected with Cladosporiosis. Such seeds do not achieve normal, full development.
