Know How salute - Fertilità: se un figlio non arriva

Fewer and fewer children are being born. Male and female fertility is in free fall due to unhealthy habits like smoking, drugs, and unbalanced diets. But the primary culprit is age. It becomes difficult for a woman to become a mother after age 35. Those unable to have a child turn to reproductive medicine, but even in this case, age is the determining factor: these centers often attract women over 40. We discuss this on Repubblica TV with Rocco Rago, director of the Sterility and Medically Assisted Procreation (MAP) Center at the Sandro Pertini Hospital in Rome. Hosted by Elvira Naselli.
