This Irish group was formed in 2009 and consisted of Pa Sheehy (singer), Sorcha Durham (piano), Paul Flannery (bass), Dan Devane (guitar) and Evan Hadnett (drums). They started performing at local venues and clubs in their hometown of Dingle. They then rented a house, where they locked themselves away, writing songs and recording demos. In 2012 they won the Redbull Bedroom Jam competition and gained extensive radio play for their single "Catch Me If You Can". In 2013 the band released their debut EP "As We Fly South". After having some success on the Irish Single Charts ("Tick Tock" even reached the Top Ten, peaking at #8), it was the single "Speeding Cars" which led to a breakthrough internationally as it reached Top 20 in Germany, Belgium, New Zealand and the Top 100 in the UK in 2015. Their debut album "Everything This Way" was released in 2016 and topped the Irish album charts, while peaking at #23 in Germany and #26 in the UK. In 2018 Dan Devane left the group and in 2019 they released their 2nd album "Colours", which peaked at #2 in Ireland and #7 in Germany, while reaching the Top 50 in the UK. In 2020 the band announced that they split, when they released their final EP 'Clouds'. Here now I present to you my favorite 10 songs of this group, hope you enjoy! What are your favorites?
