Behind the Scenes at a REAL Cut-Your-Own Christmas Tree Farm!

Join me for a behind-the-scenes tour of a REAL cut-your-own Christmas tree farm! Today I’m visiting Irwin Farms Christmas Trees in Marysville, Ohio, where owner Paul Irwin shows me exactly what it takes to grow and sell Christmas trees on a small family farm. Irwin Farms planted their very first trees back in 2003, and today Paul plants 1,000–1,800 new trees every spring, with each tree taking 5–7 years before it’s ready to harvest. Even though they’re only open for 7 sales days per year, this farm stays busy all year long with planting, mowing, spraying, stump removal, shearing, and prepping for the holiday rush. We tour the fields, learn the farm’s full history, check out the repurposed 1951 dairy wash room and milk parlor, see the tree-shaking and netting process, learn how garland and wreaths are made and even catch a visit from Santa! This is truly a family-run labor of love that keeps the farm’s heritage alive while providing a unique Christmas experience for hundreds of families every season. At the end of the tour, my daughter Natalie joins me and we take the hayride out to pick out our own family Christmas tree on a perfect winter day. 👉 If you enjoyed this video, check out my full playlist of farm tours here:    • Farm Visits   👉 Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more farm visits and agriculture content! #christmastreefarm #cutyourown #christmastrees #farmtour #behindthescenes #ohiofarm #agriculture #familyfarm #christmastradition
