KCON DAY 1 & 3! SEEING WAYV, TAEYONG, TAEMIN, STRAY KIDS FOR THE 1ST TIME & THE BOYZ A 2ND TIME ❤️

I went to kcon for the first time this year and this time, I went only on day 1 and day 3. I have been waiting for this weekend to come for sooo long. And that’s due to the reason that there were a lot of groups in the lineup that I really wanted to see. Like WAYV, MONSTA X Shownu & Hyungwon, Taeyong, Taemin, Stray kids, and THE BOYZ. And actually, all of these artists I was seeing them for the first time at this concert (except hyungwon since he came here in the last monsta x tour and the boyz). Anyways, I especially really wanted to attend day 3’s concert because THE BOYZ were performing, and they were performing as a full group, with Eric 😭. So day 1 was pretty awesome. Since it was my first time at kcon, I didn’t really know what to expect. But I went to the convention first and it was pretty crowded, but I was able to get a good amount of goodies there. The merch line was pretty long, so we didn’t get anything. Then we got food an hour before the concert. And then the concert started and I was in awe the entire time. I was blown away by WAYV’s ‘Love Talk’ performance, especially by the fact that all the fans were singing along. And that was really the only song that everyone sang along to. Then shownu and hyungwon performed and played games and they were so funny and good looking lol. Then taeyong and ten had a special performance and i was shooketh because I was not expecting their stage together at all, but they killed it. Taeyong peformed so well live for shalala, but especially gwando. And ugh TAEMIN. He’s just such a talented person. The whole audience gave him a standing ovation because he’s just amazing. Then day 3 came. And hurricane hilary was announced. There was to be expected flooding, rain, and thunderstorms, so I was really worried that we wouldn’t be able to go to the concert. But I tried not to worry or else I’d jinx myself. I was also worried about THE BOYZ because they literally had back to back promotions, and I kept paying close attention to their whereabouts because they weren’t getting on the airplane as there was a hurricane. So they didn’t leave Korea until literally the day of the concert. And i felt so bad because they must be so tired. But, anyways, we did end up going, and as we drove to LA, we received a lot of emergency alerts. The roads were somewhat flooded, it was pooring, but luckily we made it safely to our cousins place, and ate there first. Then we headed to the convention for like 30 mins. But all the booths were just giving out all their leftover products so we just grabbed them. Then we were gonna go eat to stay out of the pooring rain, but the wait was about 30 mins. So we waited for our table, but then decided to just get in line for the concert. So we got in line, got in, got to our seats. They started the show about 15-30 mins late, and I believe they were delaying the show for some reason, maybe for a group. But just b performed and I love them, so I’m so glad I got to see them. The boyz had a special stage, which I wasn’t expecting at all because they have literally been so busy, so idk how they had time to practice. The boyz performed as a whole group, and it was so nice that the boyz really cared about eric, so they let him do all the talking 😭. But their stage performance upgraded, you could tell they have been having lots of concerts as their energy was on another level. Then stray kids performed, and it was my first time seeing them perform. I just got into them this year. But the amount of cheers they got was amazing. The whole crowd was screaming and singing so loud with them. It was so cool. Love that they performed Super Bowl, which I just recently discovered that song. They just did really well, and they especially performed really well live. Overall, I had a great time, I’m sad each group had only about 3-4 songs.
