Construí un Acuario-Estanque y se llenó de Vida

I built a pond-aquarium and it teemed with life: a mini natural pond with native plants, gammarus, copepods, dragonfly larvae, and Endler's guppies. Step-by-step process: inspiration from the river, assembly with recycled glass, leak testing, and two months of ecosystem development. In this video, you'll see the entire process, from the initial river inspiration to the life that colonized the tank: how I set up the pond, why I accepted algae and snails, the introduction of marsh and floating plants, and the arrival of birds and insects. I show macro shots of the creatures, the leak testing, and why I decided to add Endler's guppies to control mosquito larvae (tank of approximately 30 L, 3 fish). • Tank approx. 30 L — three Endler's guppies. • Plants: native species + Limnobium (floating, non-native). • Fauna observed: copepods, Gammarus, Physa snails, dragonfly larvae, water boatman, visiting birds. • Tip: When collecting items from the river, check for any accompanying creatures (algae, snails, microfauna) and respect the environment. If you're interested in this type of project, subscribe for more experiments with mini-ecosystems and updates (I'll upload a follow-up video showing its development over winter). If you'd like to see how I set it up step by step, also check out my video on setting up a filterless aquarium. #NaturalPond #Aquarium #Ecosystem #Biodiversity #NativePlants #Guppies #EndlerFish #Gammarus #Copedopods #Dragonfly Music: Almost in F - Tranquillity by Kevin MacLeod Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-...
