I'm originally from Saitama Prefecture, so I've been here a few times for kids' parties and field trips, but over 30 years have passed since then. 💦 I had no idea it was so bustling! Σ(ﾟﾛﾟ;) As usual, I'd done my research beforehand, but the wonderful cafes and gourmet food I discovered there made me feel reluctant to leave. (´·ω·̥`) If you find a great cafe that roasts its own coffee, you'll want to go in! There are more places like that scattered all over the place than I expected, and I think I kept saying, "I'm so curious..." 💦 I knew it was a local specialty, but I never tried eel as a kid... No, it's so delicious!!! !!! We both love eel, and have been to many different restaurants, but Kawagoe's eel was by far the best. Next time, we'll definitely make a reservation and enjoy a proper meal at a restaurant! The townscape is beautiful, and even the alleys outside the main street, "Kurazukuri Townscape," offer some truly emotive scenery, making the stroll itself a joy.
