Boliden Odda
The Odda zinc smelter, established back in the 1920s, is beautifully located right next to Sorfjorden in western Norway. The primary raw materials are zinc concentrates for zinc production. The secondary raw material is recycled zinc. The annual production capacity is currently 200 ktonnes of zinc. However, investments are underway to reach 350 ktonnes of zinc. The zinc production in Odda are amongst the most climate effective in the world.
