Ever wondered why people ride such impractical and weird looking recumbent bikes? What are the benefits? Here are 5 advantages why you should ride recumbent! My biggest reason was of course the saddle pain. What is your reason why you have chosen to ride a recumbent bike or trike? Or might consider it in the future? Or why you didn't choose to ride recumbent? Let me know! One disadvantage I completely forgot (because in Holland we don't have them): riding uphill is harder than on a normal bicycle, because you can't use your body weight to push on the pedals. What you can do though, is push yourself in the seat and that way create some extra force, but yeah it is a little harder, especially on higher grades. Thanks so much for watching!
