Preventing sexual harassment – Are you doing enough?
This webinar aims to provide practical down to earth guidance on what organisations should be doing to create respectful inclusive workplaces free from sexual harassment where everyone can feel safe and thrive. Examples of good practice will be shared from the panel. We are a year on from the Worker Protection Act – which places a greater proactive duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment. This webinar, hosted in conjunction with Focal Point, will explore whether your current measures are enough to comply with the new legislation. We will cover: -Looking beyond a policy – why simply having a policy isn’t enough to prevent workplace sexual harassment and identifying what other reasonable steps you should be taking -Taking a preventative approach – ensuring the right training and support is put in place to prevent sexual harassment happening in the first place -Preventing sexual harassment from third parties – our State of the Profession survey reveals the extent of inappropriate behaviour experienced by female employees from third parties on construction sites and farmland – what practical steps should you be taking to address this? -Assessing your managers’ understanding and confidence – do your managers understand their responsibilities in creating a respectful culture free from harassment?
