Ancient Historical & Deserted Red Fort In District Muzaffarabad Azad Jammu & Kashmir #tahirshahvlogs

In this video we will show you approximately 476 years old, historical "Red Fort" of Azad Jammu And Kashmir which is situated on the bank of River Neelum. This fort was constructed by the Chak Rulers of Kashmir for the defense purpose on the middle of 16th century in 1549. The rooms for Army Soldiers, Watch Tower, A Sarai, A Tunnel and a Basement was also constructed in this fort. A narrow and dark prison consists of 8 rooms was also constructed in this fort. The military clashes were normal thing on the borders of Kashmir State whose delicacy is understood the Chak Rulers decided to construct defensive wall so that the city was kept saved from the attackers. The total area of Red Fort was 59 canals at the time of construction. The round stone of the river and lime was used for the construction of this fort. After the Chak Era, in 1587 the Mughals Rulers took over the Kashmir State than the defensive status of Red Fort became low. The basic thing was that the Mughals Rulers gave more importance to Kabul, Bukhara and Badakhshan. In Durrani Empire the defensive importance of this fort became increase because the work for the extension and strength. The flood of 1992 has damaged this fort irreplaceable and a big part of this fort has fallen in the river. The river took away many rooms with it. Than in 8 October, 2005 the earthquake damaged this fort more and here was a old and historical Museum which destroyed at the result. This fort is situated in Capital Muzaffarabad of Azad Jammu And Kashmir. You can easily come and visit this historical place.
