“Aromantic and Asexual People Don’t Face Rejection? Not Exactly.”

There's a small trend that's been around for a while of alloromantic and allosexual people saying they wish they were aromantic and/or asexual instead, and then they'd give reasons why they think it would make their lives better. One that I've seen a few times is that they wouldn't have to worry about rejection if they were asexual or aromantic. But not only is that not true, it's a pretty harmful stereotype. And as someone who is uncovering my own rejection sensitive dysphoria, I take that pretty personally. So here, we're debunking this trash take once and for all. ---------------------------------------------------- Welcome to Fluently Aspec - your go-to place for asexual and aromantic education and advocacy! 🌈✨ ℹ️ About This Channel: At Fluently Aspec, we're dedicated to fostering understanding, awareness, and inclusivity surrounding asexuality and aromanticism.
