Who is Jesus? The Spiritual Sufferer
In light of the physical and emotional anguish Jesus suffered at the time of His crucifixion, many overlook the spiritual anguish of the cross. Jesus was perfect. Jesus never sinned. Jesus only ever did what was pure and holy in the eyes of God. However, when Jesus took on the sins of man in His body, there was one moment in all of eternity when His Father could not look upon what He carried with favor. Jesus cried out, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?" The spiritual pain of the cross may have just been the greatest anguish of all. Join Kevin Patterson of Sebring, Florida, as he preaches a sermon entitled, "Who is Jesus? The Spiritual Sufferer," to the West Broward church of Christ in Plantation, Florida.
