TRIP REPORT | Perfect Flight on the Boeing 737 MAX | RYANAIR 737 MAX | Manchester to Bratislava

Ryanair Trip Report flying from Manchester to Bratislava onboard one of the brand-new Ryanair Boeing 737 MAX on a lovely summer afternoon. A comfortable flight onboard the Ryanair Boeing 737-8200 MAX from Manchester to Bratislava. The plane was, as always with Ryanair, fully booked but still, the flight was really comfortable. I don't know how... but the legroom was really good. On a normal row and, honestly, I would say the legroom is bigger than the majority of airlines in Europe. After a boarding walk through the apron, which allowed us to have some amazing views of the MAX from the ground level, we took off on time towards the southwest. We quickly made a 180° turn over Manchester to start our route to Bratislava. We crossed the UK and entered the Northern Sea, heading towards The Netherlands. Then we entered Germany and took a southeasterly route across the country. Later on we saw the reason for this: lots of storms forming a squall line over Germany, forcing all aircraft to deviate to the south to continue their routes. In any case, this route took us to fly next to the Alps, still covered with snow from the particularly cold winter of this year. The views were absolutely fantastic. Both the views of the storms and the Alps at not very high altitude were perfect. We continued over Austria flying in an almost direct course to Bratislava, where more storms and heavy crosswinds were awaiting us. We approached the airport from the northwest to avoid more storm clouds over the Danube and landed in time on runway 31 in Bratislava. Even when we were parking in Bratislava, we could see more thunders. 1 hour or so after landing, the airport had to close for a while due to the weather. Now it's your turn!
