Collings OM2H Traditional, Baked Sitka Spruce | Carl Miner

Coming out of the earliest phase of their Traditional Series guitars, this 2016 Collings OM2H-T has everything we've come to love about the T-Series, with some distinctive features. With a baked Sitka spruce top it had an extra dose of warmth right out of the shop, and now its tone is notably darker and more complex than any other OM2H-T we've played. Its herringbone purfling has a reddish brown lining, a beautiful accent to the honey hue of the Sitka. Chiefly, though, the neck is fatter than more recent Traditional series guitars, feeling even more like a vintage guitar (especially worth keeping in mind if you're used to the the slimmer necks of the Standard Series).
