Rubén Rocha reaparece y reta a críticas; "Estoy en Culiacán", asegura

Rubén Rocha Moya, the governor of Sinaloa currently on leave, reappeared on social media to assert that he has remained in Culiacán since requesting a leave of absence on May 1st. He denied having federal protection and rejected media reports claiming he was transferred and placed under the protection of federal authorities. During a live report from Culiacán, the Grupo Fórmula correspondent reported that no federal forces were observed outside the gated community where he allegedly resides. However, it was noted that the allegations against him continue, stemming from ongoing investigations in Mexico and accusations filed by U.S. authorities.
