This Mother’s Day in Honduras, families traveled for hours to reunite with the young people they love. Some crossed cities, some spent the night away from home, and one mother traveled from Nicaragua to see her son for the first time in over a year. Young people prepared poems, songs, flowers, and heartfelt surprises. There were smiles, tears, hugs, and moments that reminded everyone of something important: Family connection matters.
