Omar Alshogre | Mit Warde (100 Flowers)

Omar Alshogre is a Syrian public speaker and human rights advocate who fled Syria at the age of 20, after being imprisoned for participating in demonstrations against the Syrian regime. With the help of his mother, Alshogre was smuggled from prison. He currently raises awareness of the situation in Syria, and leads Syrian Emergency Task Force’s advocacy for the liberation of detainees as the Director of Detainees Affairs.
