We visit the airport on a November morning where temperatures have dropped to near freezing but the atmosphere around the airport seldom has been this heated. The ongoing issues with the airports safety systems are starting to have consequence for the airport and so in mids of all that trouble is the news of the completion of the airports new parking garage almost forgotten. Each season of the series will play out 1 year with season 4 portraying the year 2006 at the airport. Cardiff is a fictional series that will feature made up but also inspired by real life events from the respective time period. The air traffic displayed is picked to fit the time period but for entertainment purposes there are some historical inaccuracies throughout the series.
