His teacher, Ms. Tsuno, who had watched his progress, sent a letter to the Carp organization expressing her desire for him to experience a bigger stage, and this dream came true. In fact, his name, "Takahiro," also reflects his family's deep love for the Carp. In 2016, while his mother was hospitalized, he was encouraged by the team's first league championship in 25 years, and named after Takahiro Arai, a player from that era. However, the day before the performance, the game was canceled due to heavy rain, and the national anthem performance was postponed. Even on the day of the performance, he was so nervous that he forgot to breathe at times, and he went into the performance with anxiety. Despite the challenges, encouraged by his family, teachers, and manager Arai, he stepped onto the field in a kimono in the Carp's team colors.
