Ozone Ultralite X - Peak 4 Mountain flight

Took my 13m Ultralite X up to the tenmile range for my second mountain flight on it the morning of July 1. Smooth air on launch but some strong drain coming into land. Starting to feel more in touch with the wing and enjoying interacting with the mountain terrain in a playful way without forcing the wing to proxy fly in terrain that is a bit too steep for a miniwing like this. I haven't flown it a ton yet with trims open and on toggles, but unlike an R3, the toggles feel extremely stiff and somewhat unsensitive when the trims are open on the ULX. Rear risers are also much more stiff on the ULX than on my Kode-X. I feel piloting the ULX on the rear risers gives more direct and reactive input compared to flying it on toggles so for now, I am sticking to flying it on rears which I know is generally contradictory to the advice given to speedwing pilots of "only fly on toggles for your first year or two".
