Mart Helme juuniküüditamise aastapäeval: võõrvõim on püüdnud eesti rahvast ajaloost minema pühkida
Täna möödub 85 aastat juuniküüditamisest. 14. juuni on meie rahvuslikus mälus leinapäev. Just sel päeval 1941. aastal viis Nõukogude okupatsioonivõim tuhandeid Eesti peresid kodudest Siberi surmalaagritesse. EKRE presidendikandidaat Mart Helme tuletab meelde, et võõrvõim on korduvalt püüdnud eesti rahvast kaardilt, ajaloost ja olemasolust üldse ära pühkida – olgu tegemist juuniküüditamise, märtsiküüditamise, metsavendade hävitamise või Sinimägede lahinguga. Eesti rahval ei ole kunagi luksust olla võõrvõimude suhtes hooletu. Me peame mäletama. Me peame kokku hoidma. Ja me peame alati küsima, kelle huvide eest võim tegelikult seisab.
