IF YOU LIKE A 'TWIST' at the end of a story (something Suspense did well) you'll love this one! Lloyd (that's with two L's) Nolan stars in "Heart's Desire" plays a not-too-bright but decent guy who's childhood was tough. He talks of growing up through the depression in a small New York apartment, how his father rarely worked and how he was always hungry when he was little. However, he always had a place to escape which was down at the docks in the harbor. He would spend hours watching big ships and luxury liners with rich people who traveled around the world. He even learned to recognize each ship by the tone of it's horn as he vowed that someday he'd travel the world on one of those beautiful ships. Listen and find out how finally (at 40 years old) his "ship comes in." This one aired in 1945.
