Silver Flag 2026

A little Italy trip. I was asked to inspect a couple of cars and I thought that it would be a rather nice idea to return to the Silver Flag hill climb especially as I would be in the area ! So the itinerary. Friday Fly to Verona hire a car and drive to Reggio Emilia. Inspect the first car . Then on to an appointment in Modena with Adolfo Orsi . Then find my accommodation and somewhere for dinner. Excellent little place, three generations old. Saturday Drive to Castell’Arquato for the Silver Flag . Back to the accommodation and find something for dinner, A rather good Pizza from a Neapolitan family. A long way from home in the Poe Delta ! Sunday Back to Castell’Arquato for the morning run and meet with friends. Lunch also excellent ! Drive to Modena for the Panini Museum to see the 16 Cylinderi Diner with Don Camillo in Brescello set within the Poe Delta. Back to the accommodation. Monday Return to Don Camillo’s little world. To visit the museum. Drive up to the lake and dinner in Leno, Como. Tuesday Dino point and lunch with Walter, inspect another Dino , Malpensa and return the hire car 1200 km covered. Gatwick and home.
