This morning, we took our taxi driver’s advice and headed to a big bazaar in the heart of Urumqi. The first thing we saw was a massive mosque, and inside, the Islamic architecture and diverse shops were incredible. After enjoying some amazing Xinjiang BBQ, we found a shop run by the friendliest guy, where I picked up some traditional Uyghur clothing.
