EV road trip review: the 340-mile Cupra Born is the electric VW Golf GTi. The Cupra Born costs more than the VW ID.3 - the car it is based on - and it is available in two battery sizes, the larger of which (77kWh) promises 340 miles WLTP. So Jonny Smith embarked on a UK road trip from North Wales, across to Dublin (Ireland), up to Northern Ireland via the scenic route, then across to Scotland, finishing up in The Lake District (Northern England).
