Weekend Update Episode 7 and the Carbon VRD Build gets a body

Welcome back to Weekend Update Episode 7! Today, the Carbon VRD Build finally gets a body. I picked up a @JConceptsLive The Forge Body from Michael's RC in Altamonte Springs and got to work on a custom paint job. The Paint Process: Custom Masking: I used a Cricut to create a @VanquishProductsMedia mask for an embedded logo on the hood. Custom Mix: After taping the windows and applying the VP mask, I mixed up Createx airbrush paint (red, yellow, a little blue, and transparent oxidized red) for a custom rust brown / root beer color. Backing & Details: I backed that with Spazstix metallic grey, pulled the VP mask, and laid down Spaz Stix gloss black for the logo. Exterior Finish: I removed the overspray cover, made custom exterior window masks, and sprayed ‪@TAMIYAINC‬ Pearl White over the whole exterior. I followed that up with Spaz Stix desert sand. Fenders: Finally, I masked the body to expose just the wheel fenders and hit them with black Plasti Dip.
