Meet Joe Grand aka Kingpin - Altium OnTrack Insight

Joe Grand talks about hardware hacking, the beauty of engineering, and finding the right work-life balance. Joe Grand, also known as Kingpin in the hacker community, is a computer engineer, inventor, teacher, device security expert, runner, daddy, honorary doctor, TV host, member of legendary hacker group L0pht Heavy Industries, and the proprietor of Grand Idea Studio. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University, and an Honorary Doctorate of Science in Technology from the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona. Joe has been creating, exploring, and manipulating electronic devices since the 1980s and has been using Altium Designer or its predecessors for nearly just as long. As the first hardware designer to spark the “badgelife” electronic trade-show badge movement, he certainly has a flair for the art of PCB design.
