Zajmuje się głównie fotografią inscenizowaną o charakterze symbolicznym. Wiele jego prac powstało przy użyciu nietypowych technik kopiowania dających w rezultacie unikatowe odbitki. Studiował nauki społeczne na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim. Absolwent Wydziału Komunikacji Multimedialnej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Poznaniu. Doktor fotografii. Wykłada fotografię na Wydziale Dziennikarstwa Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego i w Wyższym Studium Fotografii ZPAF.
