There is a new update regarding the Aadhaar card. Under a new directive issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Aadhaar card will no longer be accepted as proof of date of birth. The Authority conveyed this information through an official letter. Consequently, while the Aadhaar card will continue to serve as proof of identity, it will not be considered as valid certification of one's date of birth—even if the date of birth is explicitly printed on the card. Explaining this decision, the UIDAI stated that the primary objective of Aadhaar is to validate identity through authentication, rather than to certify an individual's date of birth. The UIDAI further clarified that the date of birth displayed on an Aadhaar card is based on the information provided by the user during the enrollment or update process. आधार कार्ड को लेकर नया अपडेट आया है। भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (UIDAI) के नए आदेश के तहत अब आधार कार्ड को जन्मतिथि (डेट ऑफ बर्थ) का प्रूफ नहीं माना जाएगा। संस्था ने एक लेटर जारी करते हुए इस बात की जानकारी दी है। इसके तहत आधार कार्ड आपकी पहचान का तो सबूत होगा लेकिन इसे इससे आपकी जन्मतिथि प्रमाणित नहीं मानी जाएगी। भले ही उसमे जन्मतिथि क्यों न मौजूद हो। इस फैसले पर UIDAI ने कहा कि आधार का उद्देश्य अथेंटिफिकेशन के जरिये पहचान को प्रमाणित करना है न कि संबंधित व्यक्ति की डेट ऑफ बर्थ बताना। UIDAI ने यह भी कहा कि आधार कार्ड पर जन्मतिथि यूजर्स के द्वारा नॉमिनेशन या अपडेट के दौरान दी गई जानकारी के आधार पर की जाती है।#hindinews #adharcard #adharcardnewrule #newrule #hindinews #latestupdateofcbse About Us - Dainik Jagran is the flagship brand of the company.
