Weekend Scripture: Philippians 3 Who have you placed your confidence in? Scott leads us through Philippians 3 as we continue our series on Joy. Everyone has credentials, things we think can "get us in" to where we want to go. Paul has a lot of religious credentials, even claiming to be blameless under the law. But instead of boasting, Paul says to count it all as loss and exhorts the church at Phillipi that the only credentials that matter, the only One we can place our confidence in, is Jesus. You really get to know Jesus when everything you hold dear is stripped away, and all you have is Him, proving His faithfulness and giving you joy in the pain.
