Fastening wood quickly and securely to concrete is a simple job with this method from my contractor's 'Bag-o-Tricks'. Learn how to use standard construction screws to attach wood (or just about any other material) to any type of foundation wall or concrete/masonry surface with consistent, predictable results! Focus on the main message here: ANY fastener that strips out when being driven can be made to grab firmly by simply adding a piece of copper wire to the hole! Don't get bent out of shape by the whole 'galvanic reaction' thing... unless the concrete is quite wet it's not a reasonable concern IMHO and you should focus on solving the wet concrete issue first.
