After walking through a jungle-like forest path, dipping our feet in the valley water that cooled us to the bone, and filling our stomachs with a special noodle dish prepared by my husband, we turned the steering wheel wherever our feet took us. Instead of taking the newly built straight road, we turned onto the tranquil 'Old Route 36' of Bulyeong Valley in Uljin, where lush pine forests and hidden, legendary car camping spots welcomed us. From the warm bonds formed with neighbors on the walking path in front of Sarangbawi Rock, which is over 200 years old, to the romance of the night festival and the sunset views encountered while traveling down the East Sea to the Yeongdeok Blue Road, and finally to the awe-inspiring sunrise...
