Setting Sail on our New Boat - Can we do this? From Newcastle to Cardiff EP4

Sailing from Newcastle to Cardiff - this is part 1 where we sail to Inverness in one go. Over 2 days sail saw us sail into the North Sea up to Peterhead and then round to Inverness to the start of the Caledonian Canal. I was initially nervous as none of us had sailed this boat before and I hadn't really sailed for over 10 years!! Was I up to it? Well nerves soon disappeared and although we had problems with a faulty autopilot and very frayed furling rope and other little gripes, we soon settled into a routine. The Warrior 40 is a heavy displacement boat and not great in light winds but absolutely comes alive in anything more than a force 3. She LOVED the lively conditions that greeted us in the North Channel and felt rock solid with a reef in the main and the staysail.
