If its late summer - light cotton, autumn (spring) - heavy weight cotton or polyester twill, if winter - wool, also you can add padding in between external and lining layers, it will provides you warmth. All seam allowances are locked in a lining. It looks accurate inside as outside. Video contains many of useful techniques, like fabric choice, layout, fusing techniques, assembling lining with outer layer, sewing sleeves, collar, side pockets and finishing hemline with slit on a back central line.
