Dorcas | Atos 9 - Vers. 36-43 | Pregação - Jéssica Barros

Hey Dorcas; It's not over yet! Word Reading: Acts 9:36-41 (NKJV) [36] Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas; she was noted for her good works and almsgiving. [37] Now it happened in those days that she became sick and died. And they washed her and laid her in the upper room. [38] Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples heard that Peter was there, and they sent two men to him, urging him, "Do not delay in coming to us." [39] Peter listened and went with them. When he came, they brought him into the upper room. And all the widows stood around him, weeping and showing him the tunics and garments that Dorcas had made while she was with them. [40] But Peter put them all out, knelt down, and prayed. And turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, get up!" She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up. [41] He gave her his hand and raised her up. And when he had called the saints, and especially the widows, he presented her alive. Hallelujah! This word brings us life!
